SarahJames Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Anyone else faced with having to ignore a "merry christmas" etc. text during NC? I've received one and all those feelings came back although I most definitely won't respond, its still hard.
ElectricTangerine Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 He sent me a nice message. Each time he breaks NC with something nice he writes it just reminds me of the dichotomy in him. He's one of the sweetest and most caring people I ever met, but at the same time he's such a liar and a coward. So yeah it's more difficult to ignore his Christmas e-mail because it reminds me of how loving he was. I'm not responding.
Popsicle Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Not yet but I have wondered what should do if he does? Do I just ignore it or respond with a short answer to be polite?
Nothisgirl Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Mm dropped off a gift yesterday..it's still so raw and fresh...it was a box full of really sentimental gifts that reminded me of us... So hard. He also texted me at 12am..a sweet message to be "first" to wish me merry Christmas. Why can't things be different?

You don't "owe" him polite..that said if you want to stay in NC don't respond. Trust me when I say it makes it harder 1
