Hi everyone! I am an 19 year old girl who came across this website called whatsyourprice.com. I thought it was interesting how guys could pay a girl to go on a date with them. Though, that wasn't my motivation for signing on to the dating site. It's mainly because I've never been on a date or had any type of romantic relationship. Many people who I know says its weird because I'm a very good girl who is a little above average in looks. Anyways, I've been sorta interested in doing away with my dating virginity (lol) but the idea of also getting paid $20 was awesome. I want to correspond with the guy for about a month before we meet. Though, after telling a close friend she said the actions of me and the guys on the site seemed quite desperate. Also, I was looking at this youtube review for the site and this woman practically called it another form of escorting. I'm a little bit embarrassed so I want other peoples opinions. Should I be ashamed of myself? Am I acting desperately?

This "pay your date" website sounds bizarre to me and seems like it would attract people with a lot of expectations surrounding the "pay for services" concept.

 

If you are relatively inexperienced in OLD and dating in general, then I think you may be better off using more legitimate dating sites.

Yeah this is basically a do it yourself escort service with no one as protection if things go bad.

I think you should just go with OkCupid. For your first dates, make sure someone knows where you are and who you are going with. Also make sure it's in public and don't go to people's homes.
