I read somewhere that you will never be 100 % satisfied with every aspect of a realtionship. I lvoe my bf with all my heart.....i am still young. I hope to marry him someday....years down the road. Can someone give me some wise insight to when do the small things and the pain in the ass stuff out weight the love?

He has things i dont like....attitude things, speaking before thinking, his macho ways sometimes, and his lack of talking about things, and he has things he cant stand about me....my insecurites, very emotional, and not being able to let things roll of my back as should. But i love him he loves me and we have sooo many wonderful things we like about eachother. In the past I have thought about breaking up but then think it would only be for a while cause he is the one i want to be with.....but then when we are having a bad day im thinking maybe we arent meant for eachother....can someone help me straighten my thoughts out?

Hi hugznkisses,

I think it would be helpful for readers to know: how old are you and your boyfriend? How long have you been together? You might have mentioned that elsewhere in another thread but re-capping the basic info for a new question can be useful.

Finding the perfect person does not mean they themselves have to be perfect. Most people have flaws, a few even have some skeletons in the closet. If you can each accept these things with your partner and still remain happy together, then you are probably meant to be together. Relationships are all about compromise and acceptance - you love a person for how they make you feel, even if there are bumps along the road.
