If he's not into her why start the thread.

You read what I said? Either he is or he told this to his friends (presumably college aged too) and gave him a hard time and now he's self conscious and second guessing it. I know there have been times when I've turned down unattractive women and then people gave me a hard time because I passed up that "opportunity".

Yeah that really nails it. I bet she was all batting her eyelashes to get you to stay so she could use your help.

How has she been towards you before this?

You have to connect the dots here. Does it seem like she was only nice to you to get something out of it or does she give you any attention outside of that?

Honestly sort of "on" "offish" we sat next to each other in class and she would be generally friendly and interested to know more about me but at the same time if I try to contact her by phone or something she never responds within a few minutes (unless she needs something) instead taking hours sometimes the next day or so to respond despite being glued to her phone most of the time I see her.

Yeah, that bit made up my mind there. Your call but I'd say she's using you.

I've seen people that are on their computer all class. Does that mean that they are always glued to their computer? No. Sometimes it is more of a situational thing. She very well could be ignoring you, but she could also be doing other things.

I have been down this road before myself. Using every excuse in the book of why it won't work, but not doing anything about it and over thinking it and using every little signals to hold on to the hope that something is there.

Here is my advice: Do you want her (First Instinct, Don't Think, Just Answer)?

Yes: Ask her out.

No: Move on.

Thinking and Overthinking isn't going to do you any good.

I agree with this.
