I'm thinking I need to just remain silent. But maybe I should email him and tell him to please stop leaving me messages on my voice mail at work. I mean EVERY day there is something there. of course I have been deleting them as soon as I hear his voice, but maybe he is so "sick" he just doesn't get it??? Like a dog that won't GO HOME and you have to say GO HOME!

everyone says he will get tired of trying, but I'm thinking he might come kill me one day. LOL- seriously, I get a bit worried.

If you seriously think he might come & kill you do not call him, save the messages, call the police & alert building security.

If he's just annoying you, I think you can ask him to stop leaving messages on your work voice mail.

I think it was suggested to you before to either speak to your HR or supervisor to see what they would recommend or to call Legal Shield that is provided by your company and seek guidance from them as to how to stop him. You stated you would do that. What did you find out?

I have a feeling you want contact because it validates you.

It does look like you sitting around and not being proactive is an indication you do like the attention and maybe you do want to contact him.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I guess I am afraid to really piss him off if I get Legal Shield involved. He doesn't seem very stable, and it worries me a bit. Maybe after the holidays he will move on. I think he is trying to ease his guilt maybe. I will admit, when he was gone for those first 3 weeks since I started NC I felt like I needed validation. Once that first voice mail was left I felt validated. My therapist pointed that out too.

I feel very strong, it's been about 7 weeks now, I will keep pressing forward and remain silent. Thanks for helping me think clearer!!! :)

Just talk to HR. Maybe they can change your extension?
