18 months relationship turned LD and my boyfriend doesnt want it anymore

my boyfriend and I have been together for 18 months. Recently, he took up a job offer and left for France. He doesnt consider to have me over as this is his first job after his postgrad and financially, he is not stable. we both are in research field and my expertise will hardly get me a job back in France. We had a wonderful relationship and he was so loving and caring all the time. However, just right after 3 weeks he left for Southern France, he became so distant and said its better we become friends as he see no point to be in relationship since we are 12000km away! a He said he feels like we are not in relationship anymore. I was badly hurt. I told him that I respect his decision and love him enough to let him go. I want to move on but I just missed him so much. Some of my friends said we should talk things out but I refused him to talk over Skype.

Go no contact and start healing.. It will be hard but that's how is it..
