underwater2010 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I am getting really bored with infidelity sites. Is this a good sign? 8
findingnemo Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 It is. At first you tend to spend a lot of time on them because you need help, information and comfort among other things. It seems normal to me that after you have become what? stronger? you've accepted things somewhat? I don't know. But at some point, yes you start getting frustrated at the length some people will go to destroy themselves, their spouses and their families. Same script with a few variations. Just keep checking in when you need support or when you need to give support. There are a lot of people who come here for the first time drowning in anger, frustration, fear and all sorts of uncontrollable emotions. 1
Ap22 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Misery loves company. I know I do, but like you, I have been coming here less and less. It is a good sign.
NotCamelot Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I am getting really bored with infidelity sites. Is this a good sign? Same for me. Yes, I take it as a very good sign.
painfullyobvious Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 A lot of the advice becomes recycled and you feel like a number instead of a person on some other sites. There are a lot of like minded individuals who have been through or delivered the affair and that is helpful. You know you are healing when you slowly making your own decisions, less advice from others and letting go of the topic itself.
yellowmaverick Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I am getting really bored with infidelity sites. Is this a good sign? Might be because the threads are all so boring this week. 2
