lillybear1 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I think it's very possible that I may be in love with my boyfriend. I've never been in love though, so I'm not 100% sure what to look for. I'm 22. We have been talking online via online dating since March, met this summer, and have been dating consistently since August. We made it an official relationship in October. Firstly, how long did it take you to fall in love? Secondly, what made you know that you were, indeed, in love and it wasn't lust/infatuation, etc.? 1
d0nnivain Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 When I first laid eyes on the man who is now my husband I was deeply in lust. My honey is a very sexy man. About 6 weeks in, he helped me through a very rough time -- the untimely death of my EX. In that instant I knew I was in love because I could tell how much he shared his strength with me. When I was younger it took me longer to believe I was in love. I needed to see loving, honest behavior to go along with the pretty words & the tingly chemistry. It's part like, part comfort, part sexiness, part friendship. . . it's wanting to be with the person because you like their company.
Phantom888 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 First date, when I saw her walk down the stairs, I was smitten. After dinner, that first kiss, I literally felt "hearts" floating out of my body (like a cartoon). Yes it could have been extreme lust, but with her it was different. I saw myself being with her forever. So for me, it was love at first sight.... the first time EVER! We are approaching our 7 months anniversary. We are going to get married next year.
