leon23 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Duh I know kryptonite can kill superman...a man was a flirting with a woman and said you drive me crazy, you are my kryptonite. Should this be taken as a compliment? shouldn't one avoid kryptonite??
carhill Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I think that's just a 'saying' these days; the first 'effect' in the fictional story was that the substance made Superman 'weak', neutralizing his superhuman capabilities. Hence, one interpretation is that the woman can be 'weak' for you; melt. Weak in the knees, etc. 2
Author leon23 Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Thanks! We literally were arguing over this tonight! I thought it was complimentary and someone said well I definitely don't want to be "kryptonite".
