carhill Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Part of it is provide and protect and part of it is the married men's club, of which most male employers are a part of. Married men speak the same language even if the prospect's marital status is purposely ignored. My sample is pretty small, mainly small employers who don't employ more than a few thousand employees in total, but all these guys are married and most for a long time. When I look at their employee matrix, most of the 'grunt' jobs are single/unmarried guys, but the technical, sales and management jobs are predominantly married men. Like that cab driver in Total Recall said, 'I've got five mouths to feed' Motivation...
