LostBoy86 Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Me and this girl have been seeing each other for over a month now. We hang out all the time and talk on the phone to. We always say I love you and we consider ourselves "together" ( her words not mine). Anyway we both deeply care for each other and we have already had sex. Very enjoyable! Ok so here is the problem: WE ARE NOT BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND! We have talked about it and I now understand that she has commitment issues she told me herself. She says she doesn't want to end up hurting me. I told her she kind of already is. I think we would both end up better off if we became bf and gf. But since we had that conversation thing have been falling apart. We talked about going back to being friends (her idea) but we said that would hurt both of us. What do I do?
moimeme Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Don't have sex with anyone who refuses to consider you her boyfriend. And run far and fast from people with 'commitment issues'.
iceisles Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Originally posted by moimeme And run far and fast from people with 'commitment issues'. Only if that is entrenched in their personality. Lots of people have commitment issues due to a recent breakup, and those folks need to be allowed time to heal. You need to ask her how your fit into her future.
