Jenniferxo1 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I didn't quite know where to put this but I've just found out that my ex has sold two pandora rings he brought me for my birthday which I left round his when we broke up. We were together 3 years and broke up about a month ago, and have been in no contact since. Do you think this is right?! It feels like he's trying to get rid of me completely.. I have now given up all hope of us ever getting back together..if he wanted to he wouldn't of sold them right? I still love him so much, as much as I want to I can't get over him he's all I think about and he's the only thing that makes me happy. I've tried to focus on myself this past month but its so difficult when he's all I think about, as time goes on I seem to be getting more and more depressed.
RightThere Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 As a guy, I would totally sell all my ex's stuff if I didn't want to get back together with her. I'm actually going through divorce right now and anything of hers that isn't nailed down or she hasn't taken yet, I'm getting rid of as quick as possible. Bit of a coping mechanism to help move on. 1
Author Jenniferxo1 Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Through a mutual friend. I just thought it was a bit soon to be selling my stuff, seeing as we were together for a long time and he still means a lot to me.
strive Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 seeing as we were together for a long time and he still means a lot to me. You need to get this out of your mindset. It'll just destroy you. Just because he still means a lot to you doesn't mean you still mean a lot to him. It's probably why he can sell your gifts because he no longer cares.
CarrieT Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Coming from a person who lost everything in the Northridge earthquake and was homeless for almost five months: It Is Just STUFF. Say it out loud = It is just stuff…. Get it? Things… Just things. Nothing else...
