adrian2012 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I kind of have what you call a penpal internet relationship going with this one woman for the last 2 years. I'm 33 and she's 41. I personally like it the way it is but I suspect her feelings are starting to grow for me. I have no desire for any kind of commitment. I don't want to be anybody's boyfriend. It's too much work. I'd rather keep it at a platonic level on the internet. Do I just wait for her to ask where this is going and then tell her I have no desire to meet in person? We have become best friends.
d0nnivain Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I'd work a sentence like "I'm happy that you are my friend" into a conversation. I'd also spend some time talking with her about how you prefer the single life with no commitments & have no desire to be somebody's BF. Don't let on that you think she likes you. Just mention your preferences. 1
