winny Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I see many people here spending lot of anxious hours as to why someone did not answer their texts on time. And are very fast in jumping to conclusions. Many times guys stopped texting me back bcoz I answered their text after 12 hrs or more or completely forgot to answer and when I reached out to them they thought I was ignoring them and was not interested and were either rude to me or went silent. I just wanna say something about it. Even though I always try to answer every text, email, call, ping that I get, sometimes I just hate it. I tend to leave my cell in my room and go away and talk to a friend or do something without anyone disturbing me. Or sleep for 5-6 hrs continuously without waking up in between (am a light sleeper). Sometime I also do it to make sure that I can have a life without my cell also. Sometimes my job demands me to be on conference calls which go on for 12 hrs non-stop. I skip lunch and dinner and spend the whole day with the laptop n phone. At end of which all I am capable of doing is crash on bed, put cell on silent and sleep. When I give these reasons to someone whose text/call I missed during this time, they feel am lying or ignoring them. And it is not true. At times my mind feels so crazy... It doesn't at all get that complete relaxed or peaceful feeling. Because people reach out to me at all hours of the day or night. So sometimes the seemingly stupid reasons that someone might give you about not getting back to you on time, could be true They are not disrespectful of you or anything.
