Wall E Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) i'm curious on how many of you guys have been lied to by ex, when they are say they aren't dating anyone? i feel my ex was lying to me when she said there is no one else. i got suspicious when she deleted all pictures of us on her instagram and blocked me on every social media site. i didn't do anything like cheat or anything drastic, so it was a shock she did that. a couple weeks after the break up, while we were still living together, we had sex one night. after a while into it, she cried and told me to stop. i asked her the next day what was wrong, and she wouldn't say. i felt then that there was someone else in her life. i really don't know my ex. part of me tells me she goes from guy to guy. another says shes a good girl. but i know i'm insecure. anyways, if there was someone else, would the dumper tell you or would they keep it a secret? Besides, I figured we're no longer together anymore, he's free to date if he wants. I don't need to know about it and he is under no obligation to tell me. Even though he did anyway - - without my asking

If my ex asked me if i was seeing someone else i would tell her to do a lap (Sorry Simon P, had to). lop98 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 did you even ask him? how did you find out there was someone else? Never. He kept it as quiet as he could but it takes basic snooping and one "like" to end up in someone's profile and figure it all out, only a couple weeks after the BU and a ONS that chick documented she was referring to him as her boyfriend and posting pictures of him everyday (in a network he didn't know I was on), all while he was sending me 'hi' every other day... I never asked him because despite the breadcrumbs, facts spoke louder about his real wishes, and it hurt enough seeing it to still being told explicitly... besides the relationship was over, I didn't deserve to be led on but I didn't deserve an explanation either. Finding out on my own helped me to speed up my recovery, rest my case and move on for good. I would have never dated someone else if I knew there was hope but he made sure there was no way back, so I moved on, and eventually fell in love with someone else and have a good relationship now.
