waterwoman Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Went looking on H's schools website to find out exactly when the Christmas Fair starts on Saturday as H didn't know. Couldn't find anything but was paging down the 'events' page and lo and behold an old photo of H and OW (she was shaving his beard off for Movember). This was a few years before the affair but ....shudder....he was sitting down and she was bending down to shave him. Everyone in the photo was smiling and laughing and, yes, it was all for charity but ....yuck!

Author waterwoman Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 Thanks anne - It's not the end of the world, it just felt like it does when you smell or see a food that made you very ill once upon a time.... queasy and uncomfortable. I sort of wish I could have stepped into the picture and done something to stop the relationship in its tracks. Thinking back the affair started a year after this photo was taken according to H but I can't help thinking they were getting close before that time - he had 'mentionitis' about her for a while. cd - I could do that as it's way out of date but it's not a well-maintained site (hence no news about current events!) and the school is planning a new one so I guess the photo will go soon anyway.
experiencethedevine Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 My sympathies. that is quite an enormous trigger. Hopefully you can request that it is removed from the site, but I understand that the image will likely 'linger' for a while. I'm so sorry.
