Ronen Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Hi all... I need some insight into an "ex situation" that happened to me. A couple days before X-mas, my ex-boyfriend (whom I haven't spoken to for almost 4 months...we've emailed but he stopped emailing me toward the end of november) ANYWAY...he came in to see me at the store I work at (randomly). I'm sure he's curious about how I'm doing and I know he was in the area (he was shopping for holiday gifts so it wasn't like he made a special trip to see me) but he kept asking me questions about what I've been up to and how things are going and when we ran out of things to say, he said, "So,...what else???" Neither of us made plans to see eachother again and maybe I'll never see him again? But to be honest, he was my one true love that I'll never get over. You know that kind? All of my friends tell me not to contact him. We've been broken up for almost one year! I should be moving on and I wish he wouldn't have come in to visit b/c now I wonder if he still has feelings for me or was checking in to see if there was any spark still there? Maybe not. What do you think?
overseas2004 Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 On very rare occasions some time after a break up a guy will change his mind, realize that he loves you and misses you and then come and make up with you. That could be happening, and if it is happening then you need to be very patient because he is now coming to sniff around and you should not show that you want him back immediately. Just play it cool. HAVING SAID THAT, its more likely that he was just curious as you said and that he was thinking about you. So dont get your hopes up. Continue to try to get him out of your mind. I know what your going through. I broke up with the love of my life when I was 26. I am 37 today and I still havent forgotten him. You never do actually. You just do your best to keep living and loving.... Good luck....
