crgirl Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 How much do you think one can tell from another person's body language? There's this guy who I've never spoken to, but we seem to have so much in common, and I've developed a huge crush on him. We both study with the same music teacher, and live in the same neighborhood. We're both semi-fluent in the other's native language, have the same style of dressing, the same hair and eye color, and we're always in the same place at the same time. Our teacher said we'd be wonderful together. A couple times, I've snuck around trying to listen to his lessons, and I've found him outside the door when I was having mine, and a couple of times he was outside my practice room, as if he were listening to me practice. He will always leave right after me, which is another reason that I think(hope) he's there to listen. When I walk past him, he seems to play really hard music on purpose, to show off, and when he's outside the practice room, I show off with my practicing as well. When I came out with my teacher after a lesson recently, he was there, and turned bright red, and said Hi really loudly, but to our teacher, not me. I constantly walk past him deliberately, and it seems like he's done the same around me. I've seen him looking at me out of the corner of my eye quite often, but when I try to make eye contact, he quickly looks down. I'm afraid to talk to him because he's so good looking and accomplished, that I feel he already probably has a girlfriend. I'm also embarrassed, because he probably knows about my crush from the way I look at him. What do you think about a person who looks you up and down often, and seems to seek to be around you, but won't make eye contact or talk? Possibly interested and too shy like me, or more likely that it's all in my head, and really just coincidence.
alphamale Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 you sound very young if you don't know the answer to this. a) he is very shy with women, OR b) he is not interested in you
Scarlett_girl Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 i say..just talk to him the next time you see him..compliment him on his musical talents! see what happens from there..good luck!
