I'm all in my head : Should I say something or play it cool?

So, we're going on 3 months now and the past 2 weeks I've been EXTREMELY in my head planning a future and weddings and trips and **** like that - I know this is bad. VERY BAD, pretty much self sabatoging bad. I can pretty much feel him kinda backing off a bit and I'm pretty sure its this vibe I'm putting off. I know he's not on the same timeline, nowhere near. So I don't need a lecture there......

 

I just don't know if I should bring it up and say "Hey I feel like things are a bit awkward" or something along those lines? If so WHAT SHOULD I SAY?

Just play it cool, back off a bit also and get effing **** together.

Bringing up a future wedding is probably pre-mature.

 

Actually planning a weekend getaway might be a good milestone. Have at it.

I think you should just calm yourself down and not get too far ahead of yourself. Play it cool, because it doesn't sound like he's ready to move very fast. Give it a little more time, show him more affection, etc and then see how he is acting.

Question: how do you know he's nowhere close to your timeline? It seems to me you must have had some serious discussions, then? And are you okay with waiting for a while? If so, then you should really pull back a bit. It's not to say that things won't work out if you are feeling more serious than he is, and perhaps some time is all that is needed in this case...but holding your cards more closely to you may be the wisest thing for you to do for a while.

I actually brought it up and let him know that I was feeling weird and why.......
