this is really getting me down....

hey everyone,

 

i am in class with a guy i used to date. it ended not so well about 9 months ago and it hit me hard. i got really down about it, it was especially hard having to see him every day. having the summer away from him really helped. but now he is in my class again and i find its still really getting to me again. i get angry, emotional. really down. i dont know how to deal with this. do you guys have any advice?

I was remarking on a different thread I can't imagine having to deal with an ex in regards to work, school, sharing a house or kids. I am the type when I am done, I am DONE and the only way for me to heal is NOT to see them.

 

If you have any friends in your class, do sit with them. If not, then pretend to be ultra busy with your phone (checking messages, etc) or arrive right when class starts and leave as soon as it ends. Do not make eye contact or small talk with the ex. And you can post here every time you do see the ex, we won't mind

thanks jenny! that is also how i normally get over someone. i cut all ties and move on. but i have to say this is very difficult and makes me avoid going to class or socializing with my classmates. i havent really made friends with any group of people yet. i hope it gets better with time. but yes, i dont really chat to him that much. when i do its polite conversation. i also avoid spending lunch etc with him and is group of friends. i just wish i had another life i could go to. im gonna keep working on it though and i will find a way through. thanks for the reply xx
