TheShepherd Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I know its the age old question and all but I still need some reassurence. My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost a year and a half. I love her and she loves me but we have been fighting almost non stop for about two months and I think it's time to end it. There's also the fact that she's been talking about getting married and I'm not even close to being ready to think about that. Does that make me a bad guy? Anyways, like I said, I love her and I care about her and her emotions so I really don't want to hurt her to bad. I want to break up but I want it to go as smoothly as possible. Any ideas help.
Philosoraptor Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 If you're certain you want to end the relationship just be honest but gentle. "I am no longer happy in this relationship as the amount of conflict and turmoil has been more than I can handle. I care about you and wish you well, but I do not believe we are a compatible match."
