hello guys as of last october my ex girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me and I did No contact straight away after the break up..

 

 

She keeps on contacting me from that time and told me she wanted to be friends. I ignored them all.. I receive calls, text, emails telling me she wanted to be friends..

 

I decided that I should give my last speech to her so she can stop all this madness.

 

 

here's what i said

 

"Sorry but I think there is no point for us to be friends as of this point. We are both trying to move on with our lives as single and we both need time and space away from each other to achieve that. Maybe someday when the right time comes we can start over again as friends and who knows maybe get back together. Hope you understand."

 

 

Did I do the right thing? Is my message mature enough?

Probably best to ignore her. Block her from all your social media etc...She dumped you, she has no right to expect anything from you.

Thanks Hadyn.. Trust me Ignoring seems to be so easy sometimes but this girl treat me the best and help me through a lot when we are together..

 

and Ignoring just eats me up everyday.. I assume she fells out of love maybe because of my actions.

 

She can't seems to understand that people need time and space from each other after break up.

 

 

Probably best to ignore her. Block her from all your social media etc...She dumped you, she has no right to expect anything from you.

You need to remove yourself form this girl. She dumped you, she cannot demand that you are friends it will hurt you too much. You need time to move on with your life and meet someone new. Seems hard now but the longer you let her dictate her terms you become plan B. You want to be plan A so NC and ignore. For yourself. If she arrives at your front door at 2 in the morning begging forgiveness then and only then should you think what to do next........

Chris it was a long time ago with ex ex ex ex. Think i was about 18. Sad i know. But i just wanted to warn any other poor wretches who feel like going down this road! Thank god us brits can laugh at ourselves! (Now):p

"I understand. I'll wait that day to come so we can talk again! And if it never comes then. I hope for you all the best and I wish u a great life. still I'll wait for your text or call whenever u'll be ready to talk to me again.. Take care"

 

 

What the hell that's suppose to mean? what does she want from me? come on guys..

That's a weird response from her, I think she wanted you in her life but doesn't want to commit.. this is common she wants to string you along till she finds someone and if she finds that someone trust me your out of the picture my friend..

All of the above. Mine did similar things. Sometimes dumpers want to try and hold on on their own terms. You cut her off tells her no, this is going to be on your terms. That will make her really think about what she did and what she wants.

Or perhaps all 3 at the same time. A) and C) are really the same thing, and B also applies.

 

I didn't quite get "I will wait for you forever" out of her message. How I understood it is that she's saying she'll understand if it takes a while for you to contact her. She said she'll be ready for you to "talk to me again" not "get back together." And she also said wishes you a great life if you never contact her again. That implies that she will leave you alone if that's what you want, and in the long run, that's exactly what you want.

 

Don't read too much into it. Don't reply, live your life, and whatever happens, happens.

She's being mean and probably trying to string you along as an orbiter! Did she apologize for breaking up with you, no. She just wants you to be her friend- how cute-NEXT!!!! If she had a change of heart you'd have something to consider but what she said is just deflecting, I'll wait for your contact, why? Something change? Don't look back, glad you escaped :-)
