Thedafox
Just a quick story, I met my first true love back in February of 2011 and we started dating in March of 2011. We were together from the 9th of march all the way till October 22nd of this past year. I've gotten over being depressed throughout the day and I've definitely gotten over just randomly breaking down. However I find myself struggling right when I wake up and for about 45 mins after I get out of bed to start my day. When does that stop happening? It really lowers my mood for the rest of the day. Mario79
If we had the formula, to determine how long any bad feelings last. Wouldn't that be awesome. If you hang around here long enough youll see that time line really in the end depends on you, either stuff you can do to mitigate the pain and move forward, or just waiting for it to subside. But if by the afternoon you are doing better sounds like you could be doing a lot better. For me it depends on how much emotional investment you placed on this relationship, how much of yourself you gave in, and where you are in terms of self esteem. Right now dont think about when it will be over, think of what you can do right now to start improving, of ways to let go, one of those ways would be talking about it, to others its just starting a new life project, to me it is being patient with myself and thinking it was bad that I base my happiness on one person. Each day can be a small victory. Edited December 5, 2013 by Mario79
