Then go tell them if you would like to go out coffee you have an offer on the table. You don't even have to ask for a response. If they say they can't etc. That is their loss, don't even worry about it.

 

I am a male about the same age. Was very shy for a long long time made it even harder. But at our age we aren't getting any younger. Really nothing to lose. Grow up and force yourself to do something nonchalant and simple. I swear even if you get shot down you will feel so much better for doing so. It is a learning process I will say even many women would benefit from going through.

Looking for a FB/FWB on POF is like smashing your head against a brick wall. The number of guys on there looking for NSA sex is literally hundreds for every women who wants the same. Most women your age go to internet dating precisely because they want to get away from ONS situations which often develop when they meet guys in real life. So really you are fighting a huge uphill struggle using a dating site for this kind of thing. You will quite literally need to send hundreds or thousands of messages to get one lay. There are other sites much better suited for this.
