1987_chris Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I've been out with a girl I met online 3 times so far, all have gone really well from my point of view and she said after each date that she's had a great time too. On our last date at the weekend we went for a walk then out for some food and a few drinks. We kissed quite a lot and held hands which was great. I can tell already that I like her a lot but haven't told her that (don't want to scare her off or anything!) I have given her a few compliments so she must have an idea... I text her earlier asking if she wants to go out again on Saturday, she can't as she has plans which is completely fine obviously. She said she'll get back to me when she has "sussed things out" I'm not sure if this means her schedule or how she's feeling about me... She hasn't really given much away about what she's thinking and usually takes at least an hour to respond to any messages. Am I about to get friend zoned/ignored or should I just chill out and stop worrying and wait for her to get in touch when she wants to go out again? I've been single 3 years and before that was with someone I'd known for ages so the whole dating thing is a little alien to me and I really don't want to screw this up. Thanks in advance!
unbeknown Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 If you're kissing then I wouldn't say you're on your way to the freind zone. Yeah she might lose interest but the friend zone usually I've found occurs because you act like one of her girlfriends. It seems like you're freaking out over nothing. Did she suggest another day or time? If they're interested that's what msot girls would do. If not don't worry. Just reply and act cool. Brush it off. Chat normal for a while, build up the conversation again. Maybe wait a few days or a week and then ask again. If she blows you out a 2nd time then I'd say move on.
d0nnivain Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 At the holidays people's schedules are more hectic than normal. No I don't think you are about to get friend-zoned. That happens before any dates / kisses.
Author 1987_chris Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Thanks for the replies Think I am freaking out over nothing to be honest, will just wait and see if she gets in touch about another date and if not I'll just get the conversation flowing again.
