Seeing ex in 6 days

As people on here know, i split with my ex 4 weeks ago now, over distance really, i wouldn't carry through with getting another job in her area

 

Since then ive agreed to find work there, and we have both said that once i have a local job we will try again as a live in couple.

 

Anyway i saw her 2 weeks ago (i did an 8 hour round trip to return her keys ..and ended up staying 5 hours)... i could have stayed overnight, but thought it inappropriate and didnt want to complicate things.

 

In some ways its made it worse, i miss her like crazy, despite an ldr situation, we have missed less than 5 or 6 weekends in 5 years

 

Anyway i am going into her area next weekend to job hunt, and we are meetin up for a coffee and lunch. and she has said we should go xmas shopping after that.

 

Im just struggling to understand what we actually ARE to each other though?. She is adamant we are single until i move, which i understand (i backed out etc in the past). Yet we talk every day, are still meeting up etc... its like limbo?

 

Also would people agree that as we are not a couple yet, i should leave the same day?

 

I dont KNOW but i do SUSPECT ill be offered the chance to stay over again ...i really REALLY REALLY would love to, but.. dont want to spoil things

To be fair we are in an LDR for 5 years!!!

 

thats got to be something of a record, so no i dont think her deciding she cant do ldr anymore is a sign of lack of feelings at all

Then I'd say go for it! Just don't burn any bridges in your hometown, and you should be OK!
