LostGirl11 Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 What was the last hurtful thing your ex said to you that made you think 'Enough is enough' The last thing they said that shocked you to the core? The thing that broke you?
Dumped85 Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 She said if I didn't involve anyone after we broke up things would've been different, I reakon if she had communicated with me properly with the important things. I wouldnt need to be hear:(
Meadowgreen Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 This will be a depressing thread.. :'( (hugs Shaine) More of an unrequited love than an ex, but here goes: Hey, you'll have to tell me when you sell your book so I can tell people 'I know that ugly hag!' lol just kidding Really? REALLY mate? Ha ha ha. Goodbye forever.

FrostBlaze Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 "I never loved you, just felt lonely". ^^.

LostInTheWild Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Many things broke me down. The last thing he said: "Go out and live your life." (This was when I realized I would never have him back. This was when I knew he hadn't seen me as his lover in a while. This happened when he stayed at a friend's house overnight -- the first time in our three-year relationship). The last thing he did: Cheat. I'm assuming those things went hand-in-hand.
Mariposa10 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 "The answer is No, It will always be No please stop talking to me I only reply because I want sex just sex nothing else" Oh my god! WHAT A PIG! 1
Iguanna Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 This was the thing he said and did to make me realize I have to stop fighting for this relationship. It was my birthday and we were separated but hadn't talked about the reasons, he didn't want to talk, so I let him be alone for a month and I expected him to figure out what he wants. I thought that at least on my birthday he would have the decency to at least TALK to me. I waited and waited and cried and cried some more, until I asked him "it's my birthday, can we at least talk?" and he said his uncle had come to visit and we'll talk after he leaves, but I got in the game we used to play and I saw him there, playing. He would rather play than talk to me on my birthday. It was that moment that I decided that he is not worth crying for him and moved on with my life. And damn, it was the best decision I've ever made! 2
RDawg Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 She accused me of driving a previous girlfriend mad. This woman she was referring to is bipolar. I did not make her bipolar, she always was. And I told my ex that I had massive guilt about ending that relationship. After a year of standing by her as she went in and out of mental hospitals. But my ex thought it was ok to pile some more guilt on me.
Sleepyhead Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Me: "I'm willing to work on us and bring the romance back into the relationship, I just need to figure out my health problems first." Him: "Yeah, that's nice, but I'm not."
vanhalenfan Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 For me, it was the silence that spoke volumes.
BlametheIrish Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 When he finally told me that all men hit and break things when they're angry. Apparently most households in the US have fist holes in the newer drywall, and its super common to.put your foot through a coffee table when angry, because all men do.it. After him acting remorseful for his actions for a bit he came up with this bs as " Truth" to back up his actions. That was only one of the most disturbing reasons I.left him. That man should have been an actor, went from.perfect bf to horrific husband in too short of order.
ABrokenNerd Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 "I'm glad we didn't take things further, I was just getting the first relationship out of my system" Ouch
Kansas87 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 "I've met someone else. I'm moving on." And then later... "Maybe she's real. Maybe she isn't. It doesn't matter. You're dragging this out and it's over." HE MADE UP A NEW GIRL TO UPSET ME. How f***ing cruel is that?! I had not yet moved out at this point.
Author LostGirl11 Posted January 6, 2014 Author Posted January 6, 2014 Wow, these are all heart breaking, but comforting at the same time. Mine said and done this: 'I love you a hell of a lot, but I just don't see us having a future together, you want to get married and have kids, and so do your parents, but I just can't see it happening. These next 5 years is when you should look for the man you'll marry' Since then, nothing, silence.
btvdts Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 She said " i don't know what I want right now". what I didn't realize then was that she knew she didn't want me. also, what sucks is that she also said "you are an amazing guy and any girl would be lucky to have you". that hurt me Bc made me feel like I wasn't good enough for her.
BC1980 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 "I've always thought love could conquer everything but apparently not this. I just don't think we're compatible, and I've tried to accept some things about you for a long time. There is so much good here, but I think you can find someone you fit with better." Confusing. It took him there years to figure this out. What was the point of taking it so far? 1

My ex was practically begging me to move in with with him a couple of days before dropping this bomb shell.
