This is one place I am scared to revisit

I live about 40 minutes away by train from the city of London. My ex and I had about 4 days out in London and I loved them all. I'm scared to go back incase all the good memories return again. We did lots of fun things there and I feel like ill never have that again.

Anyone had this sort of problem?

I live close by too. I went a couple of times with my ex but I made sure I jumped right in to all the things we did. I did all that straight after it ended and it helped.

There's nothing to be scared of. Go with someone and have fun! You will make new happy memories there. At least you have good memories.

You are only remembering the good and days out are always fun. I think your making it out to be better than what it was. I'm sure it was good but when you get there you will realise this.

Don't ever compare new days out to London with the old ones with your ex. Try to forget it and just enjoy the new experiences.

You just need to let go and just appreciate it for what it was.

Londons a big city with heaps you do. You don't necessarily have to do the same things. I envy you for living so close. I've always wanted to go there, but I'm on the other side of world and it's always a matter of time+ funds for me.

Am I understanding correctly that you live 40 mins from London by train and you've only been there once? My home town is about 40 mins from San Francisco and I've been there hundreds of times. And it's awesome!! If I were you, I would spend more time in London!!!
