whiteknighted Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Just something that's been playing on my mind which I thought I'd ask about in a new thread. What does it mean when someone tells you 9 months after you split up that "I wish I had been able to feel differently [at the time]"? This was from the same person who 4 months after the split said that they would never find anyone better than me, and that if they were capable of being in a relationship, then it's me they'd want to be in one with. Yet, another 4 months after saying that, it turns out they were casually dating and claimed they actually meant "it's you I'd want to be in a relationship with, if I still had feelings for you". No wonder my healing is so difficult at times! I've only managed two period of full no-contact (as in, not checking up on him online) that each lasted 3 weeks. The next period starts now and needs to be an indefinite one!
TylerDurdenn Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 They're trying to make you feel better. That is all.
