Orije Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 So me and my ex broke up about 4 months ago and we have tried to become friends, but that didn't end well. I deleted her off facebook because i wanted a no contact and this has gone one for 2 months. She has tried to text and call me, but i always ignored it. Today on turkey day before heading to bed she sends a whole bunch of sarcastic statements and for some reason i responded to them. The conversation went downhill from us not being friends on facebook to how bad of a boyfriend i seemed to be. I always tried to end the conversation by ignorning the messages and saying goodnight, but she just kept coming. In the end i went out of my way and apologized for everything and stupidly asked to talk things out for the better. She stated it will only keep her mom happy and she will feel ehh. So i told her i tried and ruin my chances, but to have a good life. Did i look like an idiot to her? Was it wrong for what i did?
BC1980 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Yeah, you pretty much looked foolish. Just don't respond next time. Notice that she baited you, and you ended up as the one to apologize in the end. NC will protect to from foolishness.
