Sorry in Advance for the long post

My ex girlfriend and I dated for over 2 1/2 years. We broke up and I moved out because she had mixed feelings.

I went no contact for two months. (she tried calling and sending texts) I was heart broken but I have been doing a ton better. I have my focuses on my studies and I started talking to a few girls but nothing serious.

We started talking a week ago and one day she randomly asked if I was seeing anyone. I asked her reason for wondering. And she said because I want to know if I should stop talking to you if you are. I told her no I wasn't. That night she called me and told me she missed me and wanted to spend the night. We got into an argument over text. I asked her for motives for asking me if I was seeing anyone. She said she wants us to be good friends and she doesn't see herself getting back with me. I don't really want to just be her friend. I'm not even sure If i want her back right now.

If she wants us to be good friends why wouldn't she want to hang out instead of just spending the night with each other to cuddle?

Why does she still have intimate pictures of us on her wall?

Why does she want to know if I'm seeing someone?

I'm caught between cutting all ties or seeing were our friendship leads.

What do you guys/gals think?

Stop talking to her completely. If she's serious she'll knock the door to get you back.

Tricky one. The question you need to ask yourself is if you go NC will you regret a possible missed opportunity further down the line.

Have no regrets my friend.

She's doing the usual thing ex's do. She has seen that you are moving on without her, and now she is trying to see do you still have feelings for her, and to see if she still has a hold on you.

I reckon go no contact. Being friends with her right now will not lead to a relationship again. It will just be a complete head****.

Go NC, and if you still want her, only respond to real attempts from her of getting back

Thanks for the advice everyone, she also mentioned the week of when we broke up because I was being a jerk around her friends ( I was stressed). I apologized then but I feel like she is still fixated on that week.

I just think she likes having the idea of you hanging around until something better comes along. It's all about her, unfortunately, waiting for her handouts isn't going to help you meet the "One", cut all contact with her and start your healing so your 100% available when Mrs. Right does come along. I think she needs you more than you need her.

It's a tough decision because she has given me mixed signals. Im not into playing games but I'm curious to see how it goes between us. If she wasn't so confusing with her actions maybe this would be easier.

Mixed signals are worse than someone just slamming the door in your face and never speaking to you again.
