smellybelly Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Has anyone else experienced this... I love hanging out with my boyfriend, love spending time together but when we're apart I rarely miss him or think about him. I don't feel this like I'm lucky or head over heels in love. I just feel content. I'm wondering if this is normal or if I'm just settling?
Conners Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Has anyone else experienced this... I love hanging out with my boyfriend, love spending time together but when we're apart I rarely miss him or think about him. I don't feel this like I'm lucky or head over heels in love. I just feel content. I'm wondering if this is normal or if I'm just settling? Hi, I experienced this with my first serious boyfriend. I thought I loved him and loved hanging out with him and could for like 2 days straight, but as soon as I went home I didn't really miss him or think about him, in fact I always chatted to other guys (just friendly). We ended up breaking up because he got too needy and possessive. I never felt i was head over heels for him. I defintley think you are settling or you just see him more as a friend if you feel this way, because with my current boyfriend, I can spend 2 days straight with him and then as soon as he leaves or I leave I miss him straight away, I hate sleeping by myself and I constantly think about him while i'm at work or pretty much anywhere. I also feel like I want to talk to him 24/7 and be with him 24/7. That's what real love is, took me a while to experience it =)
d0nnivain Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Content is fine. Not every body goes on the whirlwind that usually characterizes falling in love. It doesn't mean anything.
