matt29 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Hi Everyone, My brother came to me last night for help, 8 months ago my fiance of 7 years cheated on me and left. I have dealt with it and have now moved on. My Brother is engaged and due to be married in two months, his fiance had been acting strange the last month or so. He finally got her to talk about her feelings and she told him shes not sure if she wants to get married anymore. "i dont know why i feel like this" were her words, he asked her if she still loved him and she said yes. They have been together for 8 years and engaged for two and a half. In my opinon they have an awesome relationship and they are perfect together. They have been overseas together numerous times and also overseas at seperate times with friends. They both have good careers and a house together and are very very close with eachothers friends and family. This has come as a COMPLETE SHOCK as everyone see's them as the perfect couple. At the same time my brothers fiance's grandmother is very sick and does not have long to live, she is going through a very hard and stressfull time with the illness and the final wedding planning, could this be contributing to the way she is feeling? She was there for me 8 months ago and was one of the most helpful people to me through the loss of my fiance. Please people we need help. Anyone been through a similar pre marrige issue? What should my brother do? The wedding invertations were meant to be sent out this week! Please help people!!
d0nnivain Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 they need to talk & talk & talk. Perhaps they should seek out professional pre-marital counseling. As my wedding neared, I was on edge about everything. the slightest thing made me crazy. The only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to marry DH even when there were days when I wanted to chuck the whole wedding & run for the hills.
