lsb Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I texted my ex-boyfriend from four years ago and said "i love you". I was drunk. I was just feeling down. It isn't true. I didnt tell him it was me. My number is different from before. But he did respond with my name...so he guessed it was me. I do not want anything to do with him. I regret what I did. It was stupid. Now, how can I get him to leave me alone? I want him to think it wasn't me. So, what can I say to make him not think it was me...so then he won't keep texting me. Please help. I know this is incredibly stupid.
ponchsox Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 You brought this on yourself. He thinks you want him back.
Author lsb Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 OK. So what should I do? Just don't respond? Say, you got the wrong number? What?
LostConfused123 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Hey we ALL do stupid things when we drink...You are not an evil person at all. BUT you did accidentally play with someone's feelings. Weird how he guessed it was you though. I am by no means an expert on love...ha ha! Obviously, I'm here right? But maybe just be adamant that it's "not you" He could be HOPING it's you but may not know for sure???? Best of luck and Happy Holidays!
J21 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 You can always block his number. Most modern phones have that feature.
Am4Real Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 An EX from four years ago -- like really???? How old are you guys?
LostConfused123 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 OK. So what should I do? Just don't respond? Say, you got the wrong number? What? perhaps yeah, wrong number.....anyone else have any advise? I would really like to see this guy come out of this as painlessly as possible and obviously so does the OP. She made a mistake and wants to fix it as best she can.
underscore44 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 This is s simple fix. All you have to do is text him back and just say hey look i am really sorry, I was drunk i didn't mean to send you that nor did i mean anything by it and i apologize if that text lead you on. Truth is a powerful thing. 1
