The last girl I dated was honestly one of the most beautiful I had ever met. She did some modeling and beauty pageants, but she had true beauty (in my opinion). She is 24 and I am 30. I am white and she is black. I had never been attracted to black women until her. I have never been attracted to anyone as much as I have her. I still like white women as well, but kinda prefer black women now.

I know looks aren't everything, but I am having a hard time feeling attraction to pretty women. In my head, I feel I will never find anyone who the attraction level is so high with. I am comparing them all to her and my head is just saying, "pass". I guess maybe I feel that I got someone as beautiful as her, so I just need to be patient and find one who I am as attracted to, above all else. This is not the right way to go about things.

I am probably ignoring attractive women due to this. It has still only been a few weeks since the breakup, but I've felt this way since I first met her, even before we dated. Has anyone felt simlar and what can I do to stop this bad path to lonlieless?

I have never really based any relationship on attraction because it doesnt happen often enough for me to ever have a partner so i go by what works...which is getting to know someone who i have an interest in who seems to be a nice guy who intrigues my heart.....makes it skip a beat for an undisclosed reason ......and i am giving......so i find it easy to give myself into looking for all their good qualities over attraction my heart falls in love, the only thing i can say that is bad about this ...guys can be really nice when i first date them(knowing about me because i tell them what i want) and then they could change......normally by the time i commit and they know it...and i am loyal and forgivng so a bit vulnerable in this area to stickign by them and considering it one of lifes curve balls thrown at me........so all i need to do now....

is find a nice guy who doesnt change...and love them for who they are and hopefully get the same back...wish me luck am dating who i consider to be a nice guy now...i wish you luck in your journey....physical attraction fades i know this so if it is based on physical alone.......it doesnt work out to be a long lasting relationship...getting to know someone and seeing their heart is the only way you know by hearing their freiends speak about them, their family hwo they stick by them...notice how they care for others including randoms and other peoples children and im a goner..........when you fell in love with a heart....its forever.so go looking for that heart that beats to the same tune as yours and be forgiving of all the flaws and scars that heart contains.... you will fall in love again i guarantee it, this time, for the right reasons......best wishes..deb

I'm not sure what that means exactly..

When I think of Law of Attraction I think of subatomic particles proton (positive charge) and electron (negative charge) and the forces that are generated during the formation of an electric field. Of coruse this is Coulomb's Law which is written as

F = k (q1*q2)r/|r|/(r^2)

F is the force between the charges

k is Coulomb's constant or permittivity

q1 and q2 are subatomic charges

r is the distance between them and since it is r^2 this term as inverse square law.

r/|r| is the directional vector since force is a vector quantity which is composed of magnitude and direction.

Now use this equation on two people. If two people are close to each other then the attraction between them would be greater. Vice veresa the other way as well. You could use it to describe when people are not attracted to each other. I mention this because I had a physics professor who liked philosophy and enjoy studying the human interaction as for a hobby and used physics to relate this. It was pretty cool. Of course this equation cannot evaluate human law of attraction but can use it to try compare it to something you know.

You should really be careful on how you put those brackets - I can't really see whether you are trying to divide the unit vector by r^2 (as it should be) or that you are dividing the whole equation by the length of r/r^2.

I did it because of your username

There are tons of women out there man. I've felt what you've felt before. You get into it with one particular woman and you think "well, that's it, no one is topping this babe," and before you know it, you find one.

Keep in mind, part of this feeling, for me, is due to me loving a variety of different women. Pretty much the whole spectrum.

So yeah, if I end things with a green eyed, red haired, pear shaped woman -- does that mean it will be hard to find another green eyed, red haired, pear shaped woman as attractive as the last one, or even more so, who is also attracted to me? Probably -- but that skinny, leggy brunette from across the room is giving me the eye. I think I'm gonna go talk to her :)

The whole numerator is be divided by r^2

r/|r| is the vector divide by its magnitude which is how a unit vector is define and that gives direction in a coordinate system. Typical it would be R hat where you have ^ sign over the r, but cannot put that on here. But writing it as r/|r| is another way.

I'm confused. Is this still about pussy?

LOL! Its physics mixed with calculus III topic which are vectors and vector spaces.

So basically I was using that expression and how you can use it to compare law of attraction force between subatomic particles and to humans. It's just a cool insight.

Yeah, I know - I just think it's confusing when people don't place brackets in divisions where confusion might arise. Not everybody knows the unit vector in your equation is a factor by itself. The way you present it looks like it's just two different numbers in the equation.

If you consider Schrödingers cat.

That is a crazy experiment.

Bet you wouldn't say no to a 'double-slit' experiment right? Dirty, dirty Schrodinger...
