its been 2 months since ive heard from him.... i honestly feel so much better now that he isnt around. I have mentally and emotionally prepared myself in every way in case i ever see him with another woman in the future. I think I will be fine when that day comes. it took me 7 months to get here. it took him a while for him to get the point to stop contacting me but...2 months later, def happy about this and i hope that he doesnt contact me for a long time at least a year more. im getting over him.

Well done. Pleased to hear it's getting better. 6 weeks into my breakup and still keeping in touch with my ex.

i promise you it gets a whole lot easier once they are no longer in the pic. Sure, you wonder about them from time to time. but im starting to feel free, almost joyful again. not just happy but im finding joy in my life again. Best wishes to you though.

After 7 months after the breakup, & 2months of NC. I have been given enough time to really reflect on everything. Through it all, i have realized 1) im not ready for a relationship myself. 2) although i do miss him sometimes, im too young to get serious (21!)

Your 20s be filled with trying to build a relationship with yourself. Building your career, exploring new things and learning what independence really is before ever getting involved in a committed relationship.

Such a great post. I'm glad you are finding more about yourself than you thought you knew. Lots of life lessons can come from a breakup and are seeming to find them.

I'm not going to listen to freebird in honor of you.
