ShiningMoon Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Last night, I watched the movie "Serendipity" which somehow got me thinking about whether or not the movie is realistic or completely idealistic. For those of you who do not know the movie, it is in short the story of a man and a woman who had a very brief encounter (we're talking a short conversation here, no kissing or sex involved) and then went their separate ways. A few years later, they're both about to get married to their respective partners when suddenly, they start thinking about each other. Has it ever happened to you? You met someone very briefly and years later, you started thinking of them wanting to reconnect thinking "what if".

I had a huge crush on a guy I met in England during my first trip there, when I was 15 years old. Five years later, when some mutual friends returned, I learned that the guy asked about me. He remembered me! Now, 34 years later, I still think about that guy and wonder "what if."
