winstonsdreams Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 This girl who i went on a few dates with a few months back is unbelievable. She basically never shut up about her ex and told me she wasn't ready for anything serious (not that i asked for anything). We have briefly remained in touch over the months since, but last night we were texting randomly when she said she was just talking about me to someone?! But then she got onto her ex AGAIN about how he just bought a new place and got this new girl pregnant blah blah. I just lost it and told her unless she was hung up on him to move on and get on with her life, like he has. She was thanks so i said maybe we could hang out again upon which she just stopped talking to me. I can't believe how rude she is obviously she isn't interested but she is more than happy to yap on about her ex. I feel like giving her a piece of my mind. But i feel just deleting her number and not talking to her anymore may be more mature. Thoughts????

bumpyroad Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Some people are just very self-concerned, rubbish listeners; selfish socially. You come across them all the time in life. They don't last as friends, or if they do, you secretly long to be rid of them. What does 'give her a spray' mean?

carhill Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 OP, tip: Having got the 'spray' part, due to having a male cat , I'd suggest terminating contact right at the first sign of such behaviors, like the first time you got together and she was venting about her ex. I won't take credit for that. I learned it from ......women! 2

Oh, I see, thanks . I was thinking, what the heck, like spraying her with mace so she really gets the message. I'd do the same - just wouldn't bother initiating any more contact. 2
