Why compare yourself to someone else anyways? You'd be better off just focusing on yourself and looking for compatible quality partners, not quantity.

You kept asking him a question - who's prettier? He got tired of listening, so to stop it, he answered you. No cause for concern, you asked, he answered. Learn from it.

"Pretty" is in the eye of the beholder. You looked uglier to him because your insecurity was obvious with all the pestering questions.

Expressed in a much better fashion than me, thank you! It's not all about external beauty.

He told you what he thought, but you didn't like the answer. Did you only ask him so you could fish a compliment out of him? In the future, don't ask questions you don't want to hear the answers to. These types of questions also reek of insecurity - never attractive.

You ask him who is prettier and he tells you the truth and you get hurt. Then you say, "what a thing to say!" So, he was supposed to lie just to spare your feelings? Spare your own feelings by not asking these type of passive questions.

Your last thread about that clown from work that rejected you...you kept harping about how you could not understand why he would reject you because you thought you were "decent" looking. And he also mentioned he didn't want to date you because you were very insecure. Get a clue. These questions stink of insecurity.

Krista, you are a 30 year old woman. You shouldn't be in competition with another woman. You should be developing your own sense of self and being confident in who you are as a person, and not about who's prettier and is getting guys. This sounds like something out of highschool.

Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There's probably plenty of guys who you don't know, who walk past you each day, who will think you're more beautiful than your friend.

You're 30. I thought you were in high school

You seem very self-absorbed and at the same... extremely insecure. You keep trying to seek validation by asking us if this guy was lying to hurt you... just like you keep seeking validation by posting numerous threads about if that guy who thought you were a drama queen might change his mind about you. Fact is.. being decent looking doesn't really get you far if you have a terrible personality. I'm not saying that you have a 'terrible' personality, but from what I can tell so far.. your personality is really immature and off-putting.. at least that's what guys may see. :(

By the way, I counted and you made 11+ threads about the SAME situation! Many people repeatedly told you that the guy is clearly not interested in you, but you rationalized to yourself that "he was probably afraid to be with you because you were a lot younger and he didn't want to mess things up at work" - which is fine if it helps you get over him.. but clearly you did not get over it.. since you constantly come back to ask us on this forum why he DOESN't LIKE YOU. THe fact that you said you want to make him jealous or notice you by "looking super hot at work" is enough to confirm some reasons why he did not like you.. you're insecure, immature, you air your 'dirty laundry,' you're also a bit delusional too.. I'm usually not harsh to people, but I really really think you need a reality check. Stop thinking guys should like you because of your looks!

p.s. "friend in competition" with?? really? You shouldn't be competing with your "FRIEND."

i never ask guys if I am pretty......never have..........i would rather see it in their eyes than hear it from their mouth, its how i view it......its an awkward question to ask a guy, even a guy you are going out with ...what are you expecting them to say? I would rather a guy show me how much he enjoys being with me than give homage to his perceived prettiness of my looks..which i aint anyway so .......i am a realist.......i enjoy time spent with a man i am interested in how he perceives me ...well that is out of my control i just hope he has a good time like i want to ...dont ask a guya question with the answer being possibly, what you dont want to hear.....and if you do ask be prepared for it to be not the answer you want..........................deb

I think she surely must be a troll.

Stop wasting your time on her, people, at the off chance she is NOT a troll, and that she woul actually be clever enough to take your advice.

When I was 15 or 16 I was at odds with my "best friend" because she was attractive, and I was unattractive.

She got all the guys - I got some but because I chased them and they settled for me for the time being.

I am an adult now and have friends who are models yet I could not care less. I have managed to find guys who think I am very attractive and they prefer me to my model friends look wise because I am THEIR type. And yes I know this to be fact I heard them saying it to friends when I was not supposed to be listening, so I am not dellusional!

Look Krista, if you are real and not indeed, a troll.. The right guy will look at you like you are the most beautiful women in the world and he would not want to change you.

That is all that matters ^^
