LivingDeadGrl Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I find it bothers me to a certain degree - if you don't know the difference between There, Their & They're. Your and You're. Wear and Where ("were" even gets mistaken for these sometimes, sigh) Here and Hear. These mistakes are either lack of education or just plain laziness. I will let these slide most of the time but it does make me change my opinion of the person. Text abbreviations don't bother me, unless it's stuff like "B4" and things that are just stupid.
todreaminblue Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 i have just found out i drive most of the people on ls crazy...... i dont judge a person for the way they spell.......if i dont understand what they have said i ask them to clarify .......if they type numbers instead of words....i look it as texting shorthand..i dont check a guys spelling ability or typing power when i date them probably because i truly suck at typing and type dyslexically...many mistakes...even if i didnt suck and could type 120 words a minute with 99 per cent spelling accuracy i wouldnt judge someones intelligence quota or thinking capacity on spelling ability and grammatical correctness........deb......ELLLLLLLLIPSESS ROCK.......................................................................... sorry rebellion..... 1

In every other form of written communication it bugs the bejeezus out of me. Typos / spelling mistakes I will overlook in all but the most formal of presentations but text speak is awful.
