PinkInTheLimo Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I always thought, as I was going through my separation and divorce, being essentially 40 with 3 young kids, that I would be at the absolute bottom rung of the ladder in terms of dating. I figured I was relegated to older divorced women with kids, and didn't think I stood a chance in hell with 25-35 year old, never married/no kids women. Figured I would just be a bad joke. I could not have been more wrong. It's shooting fish in a barrel. I don't really get it, but there must be a lot there that's desirable, because it is absolutely easy pickings. We women like guys like you because you have been home-trained . And 3 kids is just OK, if you would have 4, 5 or more you would be less popular... However whenever I see a profile like yours on a dating site I know by now that you are very popular which most of the time results in cocky behaviour. Maybe I will manage to have one date with you but since you have so many women falling over you, you will always think that there is still something better around the corner. There are so many women who want you that you feel that by chosing you will miss out. I made the following comparison. A datingsite is a supermarket. Some people actually want to buy something so they go for what they want, compare some products and their prices, pick one and go the check-out. Others have no clue what they want, see a nice product, throw it in their cart but then see another attractive product, throw out the first one and put the second one in (or actually keep both products in their cart ). They keep running around in the supermarket without any intention of every going to the check-out because for the moment it's too much fun discovering new products. The big challenge for a woman on a datingsite is to find out if a guy has any intention to ever make a choice and go to the check-out...
