I met a cool girl. But I found out we differ hugely in our approaches to sex. I'm conservative, old fashioned, but I try not to be judgemental (we live in a modern hookup world!). I'm in my early 30s.

She's younger. She basically...has sex with anyone who is attractive to her (her own words) and willing. Many times she doesn't know their name.

Her number is in the triple digits, and she's in her mid twenties.

I told her I like to wait and be with someone once I have feelings for them. She's cool with that, but says since it's hard for her to attach to anyone she can't wait that long. She believes, if she were to fall in love (only has happened once lasted 8 months)..that she would be faithful, or would like to be.

So ...I don't mind if while we're getting to know each other if she boinks other people. We're just friends for now...

but...a part of me is bothered by her tales of conquests anonymous and causal.

Am i being a prude or do you all feel this is something that would bother you all too? I have been known to be scared of starting relationships, and I am a late bloomer. But I know most people aren't this prolific.

Everybody is entitled to believe what they believe. If somebody else's beliefs & behaviors are opposite yours, you may not be compatable. It can be about anything: sex, money, politics, drug use etc. Sometimes two people just don't work. You two may fall into that catagory. If you think there is any possibility that you will resent her past or that you won't be able to get over it, walk away now rather than try to punish her.

You are not being a prude and I would feel the same. In fact, it would bother me to have her out screwing anything that's longer than it is wide while we are dating. Like d0nnivain said, this is a significant difference in standards and beliefs and will likely lead to serious problems in a future relationship.

Agree with above...do not let her have your heart. Better to keep her as a friend. She is a heartache waiting to happen. You would never be able to fully trust her.

She has some issues that she needs to work through. Probably daddy or other sexual trauma.

She won't be able to love you because she can't love herself. She uses her body as bait for men, and gets treated that way, like a piece of meat. She has no self respect.

Quite frankly - if I was her, and you came along, I would spend my time getting to know a real man, rather then men who just want in my pants.
