alphamale Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Have any men here had serious relationships with older women? By older women I mean at least 7 or 8 yrs older than yourself. What were the pros and cons and what special issues came up in that relationship. Was she secure with the age difference or always worried that you would run off with someone more closer to your age. Did your family/friends freak when they found out her age?
quankanne Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 my sister married a guy who is just a couple months older than me, and she's seven years older than us. not sure what obstacles they faced, but i do know they were very good friends for a long time and that the family loves him because he's the best thing that ever happened to her or her boys (her ex wasn't). I think because of that -- and because he can keep my very headstrong sister in check -- they really don't tend to see the age difference. Well, and because he's a pretty cool guy. don't know if that helps any!
