What kind of attention do women like?

If a woman likes a lot of attention from guys, does that mean she is needy?

I ask because I just met this woman, about three weeks ago, we have been dating. We have a lot in common. She tells me that, I am type of guy she could fall for. But that I seem too independent that I would not give her lots of attention. What does she mean, comments, complements, nails, clothes, buy her flowers? Not only would she except it, she would return it too.

i like attention, in realtionships or dating its a different attention, i dont like a lot of it just enough. if its too much then its a turn off. im not very romantic, every once and a while i am, but my bf is not at all, i have to ask him to get me flowers never on his own. see what i get stuck with lol.

i dont think liking attention is being needy, i like attention from everybody, not just guys, but in groubs, at work, when i walk into a place, its just confedince, dosnt make me needy. but when there is too much attention then its just not cool.

what she might have meant by saying that u may not give her attention, is u may not give her enough of ur time, or u wouldnt show her that u care so much, or not gonna call her and ask about her enough, other than that for now i cant really think of antying else.

to me, attention equals communication. I don't have to always see or be with the other person, but a phone call or email is always nice. If it's someone I was dating, then I'd hoped to be communicated with on a much more frequent basis.

however, there is a very fine line between being attentive and being a sticky booger!

clinginess just is not appealling – most of us can do with out incessant phone calls, having someone hanging outside our door at all hours every day, things of that nature ...
