She thinks/feels that something may be going on with her husband due to his phone being more private all of the sudden. She asked for some help on how she can bypass the lock code in order to check his text message. Now when it comes to technology, I am fairly current on a lot of it. The issue is, the husband has an iphone, and I am a total android/pc type person. In other words, I do not know anything about apple products other than they have an apple symbol and are very expensive. I was looking for some help on what she can do to gain access or to somehow get a tracking app on his phone. Also just to add, she doesn't have access to the phone bills as they get sent to the husband via email.

You will see a set of marks(finger prints) that are darker from being hit over and over. You can then guess the code from trying those numbers in different patterns. People usually use numbers that are common. Parts of their SS number, birthdays, etc. 1

If he did this, then there is a strong chance that phone sync'd up to that computer. Therefore, there is a hidden file on that computer that contains all the texts messages that are on that phone that is kept in that file. She needs to download an iphone file extractor. The extractor will allow you to pull up that hidden file and view the contents. 2

I know my passcode but just looking at the finger prints it doesn't line up. There are too many random ones, smears, etc. I would be afraid of locking them out of their phone doing it this way.

My husband used a swipe code instead of numbers. Since he didn't wipe his phone off often , it was much darker. His was easier than a number would be. 1
ChooseTruth Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 The easiest thing to do is check the phone bill online for repeated numbers. You can find out what these numbers are via online services for like 10$ if you can't figure it out otherwise. I went through a period of hypervigilance and if I saw a number I didn't recognize, I'd search it. Sometimes that nailed it, if that failed I'd call the # and get the name from the answering machine...and if that failed I might pay 10$. One guy took the memory stick out of his wife's locked phone, and there were some photos that told all. He didn't need to see her messages. I don't know about hacking the phone to see messages themselves. Spouse shouldn't be locking the phone if they don't need to. I did have a lock on my phone for a while, but me ex should have been able to figure it out easy and I would have told her what the pw was if she had asked. I had it because when I hooked up my phone to use work email, they enforced a policy of having a password on my phone. (then once my phone deleted itself due to failed pocket logins...so I never hooked it up to work email again...no pw anymore)

I had already told her that she needs to be careful in looking, as I have read how cheaters start to go to extra measures if they know someone is snooping. I had suggested the VAR, but she said her H cleans out his car every day (ocd need to keep it spotless) she is afraid he will find it. I will tell her about the fingerprint thing, while trying not to do a lockout. Also calling the phone company is a really good idea, she might be able to get access that way. Him charging his phone on the computer, i am not sure ifmhe does that, would have to check. If she were to charge his phone, would it automaticly sync to icloud? Maybe she can get access that way, but again I am an apple noob. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

There is always a crevice in any car for those small units - and even if found you would not know what your looking at. Then again - if you got 2-4grand there is always the Private Investigator and let them handle it. 1

It is just the phone that is ringing red flags to her, she says his work schedule or days have not changed or become "longer".

Now the problem is......if the person you are spying on is over 18, not your child then you are breaking wiretapping laws depending on your state. I caught my wife using an old cell phone with a voice recorder, several lawyers told me that it was useless and if I brought it up in court, they could go after me for recording a conversation, one-party consent, two party consent crap. be careful on what you're doing 1

If both there names are on the account then she can call them to walk her thru looking at the account online and look for numbers that appear often and for long periods of time. That was how I caught my ex wh. It seems pretty obvious he's hiding something. 1

dichotomy Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) It might have asked me for it - i know it asked me for my apple ID for sure, but not sure on password. I thought by naming the ipod a different name it would not access my account - but it only looks at apple ID associated with the device. But with monitoring/keylogger software on computer you can pick up all passwords and ID's type on the apple or pc computer anyway. Then for sure you could for sure sync up and second iphone or ipod to the account. There is also I believe devices to pull data out of the back up itunes file on the computer when an iphone is sync'd/backup Edited November 15, 2013 by dichotomy

I have used this in the past and it didn't install any software on my machine, you just unzip or extract the files, run the Phrozen Pwd Recovery.exe program and it shows you everything, I just used it from the link I provided and it worked on my Windows 7 machine. I hate to say this,,,I caught my wife with my best friend with an audio recording. Hearing them together was and is the worst thing in my life that I have gone though, still going through. I can't stop hearing it in my mind, my sleep, and random noises that sounds similar. I started spying for about 8 months, she knew it, it got worse and worse. Every lie I caught made me think she was up to no good, then I started therapy and stopped spying. They said I was delusional...so it felt great to stop, I felt better about my self...huge weight off my shoulders. Then I did it randomly and caught them..........I had no clue it was with my best friend. This destroyed me hearing them together happily ...... Try sitting down with them and let them know something is up and you're not happy. Try to talk it out before you go this route, easier said than done I know. My wife and I are working through it, lots of deep issues that we are pissed about and not with each other, my friend was more than a Rat and was setting us up for little over a year. But if we would have talked more...confessed and tried to work it out it would have bee a lot less painful than hearing them, reading their texts....they still haunt me now. Proof and the truth is always good to have...but sometime ignorance is bliss. If you really think something is up... you are probably right. Hearing and seeing it will kill you inside like it has me.. My best wishes to you.....this is the worst thing that I think could happen to anyone.
Fredflintstone Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 There is a way to bypass the simple number code you can Google it. My wife has an iPhone 4s. There are some setting on the phone that can be turned on to prevent this but if he's using the number code instead of the text code he might not know about it. There is a video online explaining how to do it. My wife didn't know so he might not. I don't have an iPhone and I managed to do it. Any app you install or if you enable GPS tracking it requires the pw to his iTunes account and then, I think, a confirmation email gets sent so this way might be tricky. You can, however get a small GPS tracker fitted into the car, they require a phone SIM card. Some can even store and replay the route the gps has travelled throughout the course of the day. If nothing else I hope it gives you something else to think about. EBay is your friend.

My STBXW was cheating on me with everyone EXCEPT me but I was lucky enough that there was never any video/audio evidence I came across. If you're able to work things out and move past that, good on you. I think that would have broken me for sure actually hearing it.
