planb1973 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 So there is this mother at my sons school who has a son also and they are friends. I only just met her a month ago while arranging a sleepover. We had a great 20 minute conversation at the playground after school and ignorant me did not realize she had been flirting with me till I left. Since then I have seen her in person a couple of times through play dates with the kids. I can tell she is interested and always comments on my looks, car, or nice house. I am dying to ask her out, but how do you do that when there is always a child hanging around. She does not answer the phone ever, but replies to any text. But I just cant ask a woman out through a text.
Neville107 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Here's what you can do - call her (on the phone) and leave a message: Hi, it's son's dad and we were going to [pick place, event, activity, go carts, mini golf (Kids vs. Adults )] and thought if you're not doing anything, you and child should join us. If she's interested, she'll call back. If she doesn't call back, the next time you see her watch her reaction to you - if open/friendly ask again - if not, she's not interested.
d0nnivain Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Send a text that says, Hi . . . can you get back to me with a time when I can call you? It's important but not bad. Thanks.
