ponchsox Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I've reached the 6 week mark and while it's still difficult, it's getting a little easier each day thanks to NC. Im focusing on meeting new friends and getting more involved in church. Be strong friends!
Nubcake Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Its been ~6 weeks of NC for me, but its getting worse not easier. Im not as bad as the first week of NC which was agonizing, but very close and I have no strenght dealing with this its unbearable. If my job which I need didn't do random drug tests, I would be buying painkillers from my friend and abusing them.

My advise, pick a place in the world you have always wanted to visit and book a trip now. You will find yourself and you are much more worthy than you are feeling now.
ScienceGal Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Exercise. If you already do, exercise more. Endorphins will pick you up out of your slump, even if only temporarily. And mix it up. I tried a martial arts class recently, where I got to punch and kick a bag. It was spectacular. 2
