Hi,

I am seriously considering having my nose straightened. I am not hoping to become a model or anything like that but I know it would make me happier. It has a big bump and a large tip and looks terrible! I was wondering if anyones has had or knows anyone whos had this sort of operation done and what the outcome was like. Also if anyone is thinking of having it done have you had a consultation etc.

I know my partner will not be keen on the idea at all but I saw a friend the other day who had hers done on the NHS after teasing at school and she feels so much happier already and its not even fully healed.

Any information etc would be really helpful! ;)

If this is something that has bothered you for years and you know having it done will make you feel better, then do it. Who cares what anyone else thinks. It is your nose and your face and your self esteem that matter.

The most important thing is to find a qualified, accredited surgeon. If they can show you a post surgery resut using computer modeling, you may have an easier time understanding what you'll look like.

It is your face and your money. People can either support you or not. Hear their opinions and then do what is best for YOU.
