What is he thinking!?

Hi everyone, a friend (and no its not me!) met a girl online from a different culture, first language and country. A couple months after talking online, he went over there and they really hit it off. Three months after that she moved to his country to be with him leaving her friends and family behind. She's never lived with anyone else before (apart from family) and is only 22 whereas he is 33. Another 6 months and they are married!! (probably for Visa reasons so they can stay together). I really don't think hes made a good decision, even though they are clearly mad about eachother. He had a long relationship before this which was on and off again and this is very unusual behaviour for him. Would appreciate any input, does anyone have similar experience?

From the limited info you gave, they could be a very happy couple or a train wreck waiting to happen. However, I'm wondering what it matters to you? Why does this relationship cause you enough concern that you'd make an account on a forum and post asking about it?

They sound happy together. Some people take things fast, some take things slow. Whatevs. Is there a particular reason you are concerned?
