yorkie Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 right everyone has probs heard me venting about my ex etc and how hard it is for me but since i am now single i joined facebook and got in cntact with alot of old pals. one of my mates got in contact, who i knew at school and we lost touch. here is his story very true and very horrific with s far a happy disney ending! my mate asked how things are going and i told him i had split with ex after 12 and half years, he told me to keep my chin up and that if i do and focus on me i can change my life! he told me he split from his ex 6 years ago with two young kids she kicked him out of his joint home and she was funny with him seeing the kids and 3 weeks later she moved in another guy! well he was homeless and recently got made redundant! he had to spend time in the local homeless shelters and started to get hammered every day on the drink! he then said to me his ex always put him down saying he wouldnt come to much! he worked hard and was a builder! he worked all hours and gave his family everything but when he lost his job she kicked him into touch! well for about 4/5 months he was down and out then one day he snapped he got into a fight and got arrested and went to court luckily he didnt go to prison but he was on a coomuinty order. he then thought wow i have changed so much because of his ex! he changed from th moment he walked free from court he changed! he told me he was a down and out but then thought why, how, could the woman he gave everything for do this to him so he changed. he worked really hard got a flat found a new job and now has his own buisness! he owns his own house mortgage granted but now see's his kids regular and has now a stunning and i mean stunning wife that he met when he had nothing! he told me you need to hit rock bottom before you can change and you know what well played that man. he is a very good man and you know what he has been through hell but he is back! his ex still trys to get him back but he doesnt even blink at her. he told me she chose and she broke him and now she begs constantly for his return but he is happy and he is a new improved guy! dont get me wrong he did have good times with his ex but he told me good times takes two people and when one withdraws and then turns you know its time to move on! and move on he did! well played that man 3
